Żgur li ma stajniex nagħlqu din is-sena skolastika b’attività isbaħ mill-water games li għamilna fl-aħħar ġurnata tal-istudenti 01/07/2014. L-istudenti kif ukoll l-istaff kienu ferm avventurużi u pparteċipaw bis-sħiħ f’dawn il-logħob, b’riżultat li kellna l-isbaħ festa tal-ilma li wieħed jista’ jimmaġina. Kellna 4 logħbiet organizzati, u fl-aħħar għalaqna b‘water fight bil-bżieżaq tal-ilma. It-tbissima fuq fomm l-istudenti, l-eċitament u l-atmosfera pożittiva li ħloqna ħallewlna togħma ħelwa li biha għalaqna din is-sena ta’ ħidma. Ir-ritratti jixhdu dan kollu!! Wara l-water games kull klassi organizzat festin ċkejken, fejn ilkoll sellimna lil xulxin u tajna l-awguri tagħna għal sajf tajjeb. Kienet tassew ġurnata memorabbli li żgur li kull parteċipant qatt mhu ser jinsa!

As its name implies, this project consisted in bringing together 6 artistic and intrinsic flavours together in one portable pack. The artistic disciplines involved consisted in the making of salt in a traditional way, olive oil, sun dried tomatoes, honey, olive leaves tea, and carobs syrup. These products were produced both at our Resource Centre Vocational Units and at our partner’s workshops.

Such project was very important for our Resource Centre for two main reasons.

1.   It gave our students the opportunity to integrate with Wardija Community therefore creating more inclusive environment.

2.   Engaged in such artistic disciplines our students enhanced their employability skills which are of utmost importance for their future especially with regards to their vocational preparation.
