{"id":17,"date":"2009-10-04T05:37:23","date_gmt":"2009-10-04T10:37:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sns.wardija.skola.edu.mt\/?page_id=17"},"modified":"2016-08-12T04:02:36","modified_gmt":"2016-08-12T09:02:36","slug":"17-2","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sns.wardija.skola.edu.mt\/?page_id=17","title":{"rendered":"Educational Programme"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Curriculum Followed<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The students follow a six year educational course.\u00a0 They start this journey at 16 years and eventually leave at 22 years.\u00a0 There are some students who for a reason or another do not finish the six year course.\u00a0 If that is the case, parents are asked to inform by an email the SMT such decision.\u00a0 The SMT together with all those involved in the education of the students commits itself to embark in educational projects in the best interest of the students.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At the DM Attard YAERC students follow courses tailor made to their needs.\u00a0 In fact there are three educational tracks which the student can embark on.\u00a0 Track A, B and C.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Track A and B<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">These courses are more oriented on employability skills, vocational training and academic goals.\u00a0 During the first three years the students follow a curriculum based on the Princes\u2019 Trust (XL programme) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.princes-trust.org.uk\/\">https:\/\/www.princes-trust.org.uk\/<\/a> and the Learning Outcomes Framework\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.schoolslearningoutcomes.edu.mt\/en\/\">http:\/\/www.schoolslearningoutcomes.edu.mt\/en\/<\/a>.\u00a0 After the first three years, the students are exposed to various learning experiences which eventually equips them with enough skills to be employable.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The last three years are more academic oriented.\u00a0 The system is very much similar to Secondary mainstream.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Eventually throughout the third year and the sixth year the SMT discusses with the student and parents possible transition to other opportunities beyond the Resource Centre.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Subjects and Teacher Loads Track A and B<\/strong><\/p>\n<table width=\"591\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td colspan=\"2\" width=\"302\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>A&amp;B<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<td colspan=\"2\" width=\"290\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>A&amp;B<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"70\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Loads<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<td style=\"text-align: center;\" width=\"231\"><strong>First 3 Years &#8211;
